Digital Handover ver. 3.14

We are ready with many new great features for Digital Handover! A new feature for requesting and creating components, new quality control roles and processes, a new reporting option, and much more. See all the improvements and fixes here.

Choose the number of approvers and quality controllers for your Digital Handover

As an administrator, you can now select how many approvers and quality controllers to add to a specific Digital Handover. You can choose three different quality assurance settings for a case:

  • 1st and 2nd approver

  • 1 approver and 2 quality controllers

  • 1 approver and 3 quality controllers

The choice of the above defines the path for components, which then have to go through several roles.

See more about the quality control processes here.

Request for new components

Contractors now have a new feature to request new components. The request is sent to an administrator, who can find it in a new tab " Awaiting approval " under the menu " Components ". After approval, the administrator can complete the creation of the component so that it is ready for data entry.

Notification icon next to menus

As an administrator, you can now easily see what you need to address first when you open a Digital Handover. A small round notification icon next to the menus will show you where an action is awaiting your attention.

Overview of all new features, improvements and fixes in Digital Handover ver. 3.14

Date of release: 15th of October 2022

Digital Handover

New features

  • It is now possible to add drawings in DWG format to locations, so contractors can mark on a drawing when entering instances for a building element. The drawings are added in iTWOfm.

  • Administrators can now download a status report for each trade under the "Statistics and Reports" module.

  • Contractors now have a button to request new components. The request is sent to an administrator who, after approval, can complete the creation of the component.

  • A small notification icon now appears next to a menu where there is an action waiting for an administrator.

  • Validation for components has now been added to ensure that contractors cannot send components for approval without recommendations, instances, files and photos.

  • Administrators can now add up to 4 quality controllers for components.

Improvements

  • When opening a Digital Handover, only users with the roles "Administrator" and "Trade Administrator" are now shown the option to open the Contractor module or the Administrator module.

  • The approval procedure for components has been optimized so that when the contractor sends a component for approval, the component is sent directly to the 1st approver. Before the optimization, components had to go through an administrator first.

  • When an administrator creates a component, they now select the object card type from a dropdown menu. Previously, all the types were in a list view.

  • The "Save data in personal Handover database" button has been moved from the first step to the last step in entering data for a component.

  • When a user with the "Approver" role opens a Digital Handover, they now only see the "Quality Control" menu.

  • Administrators can now click in the preliminary FM plan, to get details about the specific component; when and how it should be maintained.

  • English text improvements.

  • A "Select all"/"Deselect all" checkbox has been added to list views where you can select multiple items.

Error fixes

  • An issue where users with the "Observer" role could make changes to components has been fixed.

  • An issue with area imports has been fixed.

  • An issue where components were assigned an automatic deadline has been fixed.
