What is RIB Vault?

With RIB Vault you get a complete online copy of your company’s data from RIB project, so you can always recreate documentation and ensure access to data. When you create a Vault sequence on your project, you get a precise snapshot of all data that you and collegues have access to at the time the sequence is created.

That way you can always recreate what a project looked like at an earlier stage of the project cycle, including all files, metadata, and history that your company's users had access to.

What is a Vault project?

The first time you want to create a Vault based on a RIB Project, you here create your Vault project, including your first Vault sequence. The Vault project is where all your Vault sequences are being stored and it is here your complete online copi can be used to review your RIB project. You can not have a Vault sequence without having a Vault project, and on the contrary there will always be at least one Vault sequence in your Vault project.

You can only have one Vault project on the same PN no., however, you can create as many Vault sequences as you want. If you delete your Vault project, you will also cancel all your sequences at the same time.

What is a Vault sequence?

A Vault sequence is a precise snapshop of all data that you and collegues have access to at the time the sequence is created. You can easily create one or more sequences that provide an accurate snapshot of data at a given time in the project, based on one or more users' rights and access to data (though only users from your own company).

Prices for Vault

The prices for RIB Vault are calculated per. sequence per month and is based on the project size in MB. The maximun price for a Vault sequence is DKK 899, - per month. When you create a Vault sequence on a RIB Project, you also accept a continuous subscription with a monthly payment.

General terms and conditions for RIB Vault

  • Ordering a Vault sequence will require payment. The price depends on the size of the Vault sequence measured in MB. When you request a Vault sequence, we will calculate a price for you, which you must accept. Only then will the purchase be finalized.

  • You have 14 days to accept the price of your Vault sequence. If you do not accept within 14 days, the Vault sequence will automatically be deleted.

  • If you choose to accept the price of your Vault sequence, you also accept a continuous subscription with a monthly payment with the stated price. The subscription price is charged by RIB Software Nordic monthly in advance and is due 14 days after the invoicing date.

  • Termination of your Vault sequence is the current month plus 1 month notice. If a Vault sequence is deleted, we will consider this a termination.

  • Other terms of the agreement are described under RIB's general license agreements.
